Oxford, Mississippi — The National Graphene Association, the main organization and body in the US advocating and promoting the commercialization of graphene and addressing critical issues such as standards and policy development, is pleased to announce the addition of a new Corporate Partner: Directa Plus of Italy.
Directa Plus is one of the largest producers and suppliers of graphene-based products in the world. Their graphene-based products, known by the G+® brand, give remarkable properties or added functionality to a variety of consumer and industrial products. Utilizing a unique and patented technique called ‘Plasma Super Expansion,’ their production process is scalable, portable, chemical-free and results in almost zero waste. Directa Plus is delivering tomorrow’s materials in today’s products.
In February 2018, Directa Plus announced that the Italian trademark and patent office had granted the company a patent for the production and application of its new graphene-based solution for enhancing the performance of tires. These graphene-enhanced tires are faster in motion, safer in turning under breaking and in extreme weather conditions, and also reduce fuel consumption.
NGA Executive Director, Zina Jarrahi Cinker, commented, “We are pleased to have Directa plus joining us as a corporate partner. Their unique approach to enhancing everyday products with graphene from sportswear to tiers and concrete is exemplary, and we look forward to seeing many more graphene-enhanced products from Directa.”
NGA serves as a nexus for graphene stakeholders, and has an unrivaled Advisory Board (access complete Advisory Board here). In addition to Directa Plus joining NGA as a Corporate Partner, their CEO and Founder, Giulio Cesareo, is also joining NGA’s Advisory Board.
