OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI February 2, 2018 The National Graphene Association is the main organization and body in the United States advocating and promoting the commercialization of graphene. NGA serves as the nexus to bring together current and future graphene stakeholders — entrepreneurs, companies, researchers, developers and suppliers, investors, venture capitalists and government agencies — to drive innovation, and to expedite and facilitate the commercialization of graphene products and technologies in the United States and globally.

The National Graphene Association has assembled an unrivaled advisory board of thought leaders and experts from commercial and industrial segments, advanced material and technology companies and corporations, national labs, government agencies, investment firms, standard bodies and academic & research institutions. The NGA is continuously seeking members to help establish a strong foundation that will serve to further graphene innovation and commercialization throughout the United States and beyond.

We are pleased to announce the addition of these new members to our Advisory Board:

Neill Ricketts is the CEO and co-founder of Versarien PLC. Founded in 2011, Versarien’s mission is to create new materials suitable for commercial use. To date, Versarien’s management has been quick to realize the potential of innovative technologies and capitalize on this. Versarien’s current portfolio of companies is at the forefront of innovation; its subsidiaries manufacture hard-wearing materials suitable for arduous environments, micro-porous metals for thermal management, plastics ready for graphene enhancement, as well as graphene R&D and Nanene manufacture. Versarien remains at the forefront of graphene development and includes spin-out companies from both the University of Manchester and Cambridge University. Versarien was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2013.





Marcus Liemen finished his studies in Business Administration at the Berufsakademie Goettingen in Germany in 2003. From 2003 till June 2008 he was in charge of all financial-related affairs as Chief Financial Officer. Since July 2008 Marcus Liemen is responsible as Managing Director for all internal organizational affairs and all financial matters at Accurion GmbH and all subsidiaries in US, China and India. He also was involved in most customer projects in the product area of Surface Analysis instruments. From June 2018 he will reinforce the company activities at the U.S. subsidiary Accurion Inc., including leading a new team and managing the U.S. company as its President.





Zisong Nie is the Founder of Tetrels Technology Corp., which aims to commercialize graphene-enhanced water treatment technologies. With a deep understanding of the graphene industry and business development skills, he has officially engaged with more than 20 companies and closed investment deals with 8 companies within the last year. He has also helped graphene companies setting up business in China for manufacturing, fundraising and building government relations. He flew more than one hundred thousand miles in 2017, back and forth between US and China, brokering graphene deals.





Don DePriest began his business career as a financial analyst for Dun & Bradstreet. He then joined a St. Louis textile and plastics manufacturer, and at the time of resignation to form his own business was division manager of three manufacturing plants in Columbus, Mississippi, Dallas, Texas and Greenville, South Carolina. Upon establishing his own company he began a focus on manufacturing medical devices and in communications ventures. He founded nine companies in those fields, from Charisma Communications Corporation, a series of cell phone systems in 11 major Southeastern US cities; to American Telecasting, Inc., which provided wireless cable television and broadband in 51 cities; to MCT Russia L.P. affiliates, which built and operated 29 cell phone systems in the former Soviet Union; Russia and Central Asia; to Microtek Medical, Inc., a manufacturer of sterile medical devices focused on microsurgery.


 Paul Harris is the Vice President of Product Strategy and Innovations for MCR Safety, a $300 million company out of Collierville, Tennessee. Over his 21-year career, he has served in leadership positions in sales, compliance and consulting, product development, purchasing, strategic branding and licensing. His product designs have gained MCR Safety numerous product development awards in the industry and received multiple patents while more importantly reducing worker injuries. As an active member of the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA), he has served on advisory boards that write the standards for American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Paul has also authored articles appearing in Safety + Health Magazine, Occupational Health and Safety, ISHN, EHS, and Impact Magazine.




Paul Ferguson brings considerable marketing expertise to Great Lakes Graphite from serving in technical and executive positions for a number of high tech and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software companies. Serving as Chief Marketing Officer, Paul is responsible for all aspects of corporate and product brand design and development. As an active investor in early stage companies, Paul has drawn on his experience to assist several startup companies with business plan and brand development, marketing strategy and information technology, including taking on advisory or even full time responsibilities. Mr. Ferguson received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Thought and Political Economy, Cum Laude degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1981.
