Oxford, Mississippi – The National Graphene Association, the main organization and body in the US advocating and promoting the commercialization of graphene, is pleased to announce the addition of a new Corporate Partner: Graphene One.
Graphene One, LLC of Los Angeles, has successfully developed a series of graphene-based technical fibers called Kyorene®. These composite fibers
have a wide range of inherent properties such as antibacterial, mite repellency, mechanical strength, UV resistance deodorant properties and thermal regulation functions.
“We are delighted to welcome Graphene One to the NGA family. We hope this partnership will facilitate the integration of graphene and graphene-based materials into a wide range of products.”, said Dr. Zina Jarrahi Cinker, Executive Director of the NGA.
Kyorene can be applied to a wide variety of textiles including knitted and woven fabrics and non-woven fabrics such as active-wear, home textiles, functional clothing, industrial fabrics, and many other high performance materials. Graphene One has developed the latest state-of-the-art manufacturing process to create Kyorene fibers and yarns and graphene material. Kyrorene not only provides excellent performance but low cost as well. This development paves the way for large-scale, low-cost production while also promoting new graphene applications.
The National Graphene Association will be hosting its 2nd annual conference, the Graphene Global Expo in Austin, Texas, October 15-17. For more details visit: www.nationalgrapheneassocation.com
