About

National Graphene Association

Mission Statement

The National Graphene Association is the main organization and body in the U.S. advocating and promoting the commercialization of graphene. NGA is focused on addressing critical issues such as policy and standards development that will result in effective integration of graphene and graphene based materials globally. NGA brings together current and future graphene stakeholders — entrepreneurs, companies, researchers, developers and suppliers, investors, venture capitalists and government agencies — to drive innovation, and to promote and facilitate the commercialization of graphene products and technologies.

About NGA:

Since its discovery in 2004, graphene, the 2D form of carbon, has shown enormous versatility and potential to fuel technological advancement in many industry segments. Among these are energy storage, electronics, smart textiles, sensors, medical devices, bio interfaces, water purification, structural materials, composites and many more. Graphene will eventually find its way into almost every field and will affect many facets of human life. There is significant growth potential in industries that have yet to consider the use of graphene and to which graphene could bring transformative, unique solutions and add significant value.

By convening the current and future stakeholders in the graphene market — graphene entrepreneurs, companies, suppliers, developers, investors, venture capitalists and government agencies, NGA aims not only to accelerate the commercialization of graphene, but to also create cross-industry momentum and help identify untapped industry and market segments prime for graphene integration

The National Graphene Association offers a wide range of networking and information initiatives, including Graphene Roundtable™ events, conferences, expos and workshops designed to facilitate the engagement between the diverse stakeholders in the graphene field and promote cross-disciplinary dialogue, collaboration and partnerships.

An important strategic element of NGA’s infrastructure is the digital news and information platform GrapheneEntrepeneur.com, which delivers the latest news about the companies, people, products, research, and other developments in world of graphene.

NGA has assembled an experienced team to implement its mission. Our team’s expertise includes not only scientific and practical knowledge of the graphene industry and the supply chain but also extensive experience in the large scale international event and exhibition space, news, digital media, advertising and marketing.

We invite you to join the National Graphene Association (NGA) and be a driving force behind the commercialization of graphene. Visit our membership page for more.
